Santiago, Helpful tool

As i waited for Ali to arrive to IMS today, i scanned around to see what IMS had to really offer, and I found this three way clamp. I think this tool will be very useful for our project. our members will be perfectly angled at 90 degrees and can assist in making neater welds. Hope Andrew and Rennie will consider purchasing this tool.

Santiago, Mock-up update

This is the semi finished mock-up with a bit more practice of the major details that we were all concerned, the casters, height and weight, and the french nip.Everything works out pretty well. the mock-up really helped us define the concerns, i feel is a great way to go about and approach large scale projects.

Rethought Side Removable Board

We encountered a problem in class with the side board, the previous design had conflicting dimensions that simply wouldn't fit right upon completion. This image is the fixed dimensions of the side board as shown.

Preliminary Class Layout

As discussed in class today, these first attempts at organizing the space with a combination of desks and portable boards are a little too "severe" as Andrew put it. With help from the instructors, we are currently looking into different possible layouts and configurations.
