Hi everyone, here are some sketches that were developed as we met throught the weekend. The images you see are a series of pictures that took of a sliding door from a UPS truck where i work at. The hinges that allow it to curve have wheels at the edge built into a rail system that has a structutral support that is attached to the fram of the truck. The other images show how the warehouse was built. this warehouse is all metal, as you can see, L shape plates were welded on first and then another component was placed ontop and then welded together, we can use this similar concept for our framework. Over the weekend, we were trying to figure out how thick or long the material needed to be to support the panels, using cross brasing and the L shaped to place and weld, the frame will be strong enough, the cages seen in various color can support my weight, and the weight of many packeges withought damage, i will print and take to studio tomorrow to discuss the images.
